Grades are standardized measurements of varying levels of comprehension within a subject area. Grades can be assigned in letters (for example, A, B, C, D, E, F), as a range (for example 4.0 - 1.0), as descriptors (excellent, great, satisfactory, needs improvement), in percentages, or, as is common in some post-secondary institutions, as a Grade Point Average (GPA). The GPA can be used by potential employers or further post-secondary institutions to assess and compare applicants. A Cumulative Grade Point Average(CGPA) is the mean GPA from all academic terms within a given academic year, whereas the GPA may only refer to one term. Nowadays, pointer plays a vital role in affecting a person future. For instance, the CGPA for a STPM student will determine whether he/she can get the course of their choice in local University . On the other hand, by the time u graduate from the university CGPA also will determine whether you will graduate as a First Class Honour or you are in the Dean List .
Usually most of us in the law faculty of UKM must get a high score in our CGPA in previous exam ( STPM, Matriculation and etc) in order to get into this faculty. I believe that everyone did pay a lot of efforts before we all able to get a place in this faculty.Unfortunately, our journey won't just end here,in this fac we must work even more harder so that we can catch up in our lesson and didn't gets left behind.
I do know that sometimes we do feel like wan to give up especially we encounter difficulty in our studies but before we want to think of give up we must think about the effort that we paid previously and the reason why we are here today. Think about our dream, our aim, our ambition and this will be the greatest motivator in our four years time in UKM.
Nobody will success without any hard work or just because of be lucky all the time , our CGPA is in our hand, First Class Honour or Honour is just only in our hand, be confident in our self we do scored high score previously so we can DO IT again no doubt. Lets together work hard and don't give up for the sake of out bright future. Cheers......:-)
